Kansas City Chiefs: Dwayne Bowe Contract Situation from Fans on Twitter
Although the contract situation between Dwayne Bowe and the Kansas City Chiefs seems to be going (at least on the surface) very amicably, the fact that he still has yet to sign his franchise tender is keeping everyone in and around the organization on their toes in anticipation of a resolution.
However, according to Patrick Allen of arrowheadaddict.com, Bowe says that he will be present for training camp.
That is great news for Chiefs' fans that are worried about his status for the 2012 season. But what about the fans that are more neutral on the situation or those that actually don't care whether Bowe is in a Chiefs uniform at all?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Regardless of if fans side with Bowe or the organization as it relates to his status as a Chief going forward, Scott Pioli has done a remarkable job recently of adding weapons to mask whatever deficiency there would be in the receiving corps should this matter take a turn for the worse.
With high expectations going into the 2012 season for the Chiefs, it would be shocking if both sides didn't have a pointed interest in resolving this situation in an effort to negate any potential distraction.
The fact that Bowe doesn't seem to be bowled over by the franchise tender is a sign that he sees it as a way to buy both sides enough to time to come to an agreement that is beneficial for both parties.
Here are takes from six Chiefs fans on Bowe's contract situation:
"Don't sign him. Great receiver 40 percent of the time.
"
"Much ado about nothing. DBowe will hold out and then sign by 3rd Preseason game. He's a veteran playing the card to avoid training camp.
"
"If Bowe isn't holding out, the Chiefs should ride the year out. If he becomes the elite WR he could be, pay him accordingly.
"
"Doesn't bother me. He deserves the money with how he has played. Typical Chiefs in my mind. At his position, he can miss a couple weeks of camp.
"
"Pioli has done a good job recently adding not only depth, but talented depth...having Bowe ensures this at the receiver position.
Bowe will be here and ready. Pioli is a great negotiator and egotistical so it's gonna take a compromise, but will be like recent contract extensions.
"
"I think a guy like Bowe is just living the NFL life...doesn't care much about winning...if we didn't sign him, I wouldn't care much.
I think receivers like him are sprinkled all over the NFL and come out each year in the draft...he is replaceable.
