WWE News: Likely Card for Next Month's No Way Out Pay-Per-View Revealed
SPOILER WARNING: The following article contains SPOILERS from this Fridayโs SmackDown, so STOP reading if you like to be surprised.ย
On this weekโs episode of Monday Night Raw, it was announced that John Cena would face the newly heel Big Show at Juneโs No Way Out pay-per-view.ย
That will be the main event of the show because, well, because Cena has been in the main event of the last four pay-per-views, and I wouldnโt expect that to change anytime soon.ย

As for the rest of the card, chances are you probably have a good idea what matches will round out No Way Out.ย
But just in case you donโt, PWInsider.com (via WrestlingInc.com) is providing you with the likely card for next monthโs PPV:ย
"Below is what's currently planned for WWE's No Way Out pay-per-view in June:
* John Cena vs. Big Show
* WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan, possibly with Kane involved somehow
* World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
* WWE Intercontinental Champion Christian vs. Cody Rhodes
* Randy Orton vs. Chris Jerichoย
"
I think that most WWE fans saw this card coming.ย
They teased a rematch between Punk and Bryan on Mondayโs Raw, and that match is a lock for No Way Out.ย
The only thing Iโm not sure about is Kaneโs involvement. Although he has inserted himself smack dab into the middle of this feud, Iโm not sure the WWE wants to ruin it (yes, it will be ruined if Kaneโs involved) by having Kane do a run-in or even by adding him to the bout to make it a Triple Threat.ย
Thatโs completely unnecessary. Let Bryan and Punk, the two best performers in the WWE at the moment, get the spotlight.
As for the World Heavyweight Championship match, Del Rio will, in fact, earn a title shot against Sheamus on this weekโs SmackDown, and that match will indeed take place.ย
No surprise there, because there really arenโt many other options for Sheamus to feud with at the moment.ย
Neither Orton vs. Jericho nor Rhodes vs. Christian should come as a surprise, either, after Jerichoโs attack on Orton on Mondayโs Raw and Christianโs big Intercontinental Championship win at Over the Limit.ย
I donโt know about you, but these are two matches Iโm really excited about seeing.ย
We just watched Christian vs. Rhodes on Sunday, but itโll be much better with more build and more time, and although weโve seen Orton vs. Jericho before, I have no problem with seeing two great workers in a match against one another.ย
When you combine Orton/Y2J, ADR/Sheamus and Rhodes/Christian, No Way Out is shaping up to have a pretty damn good card.ย
Who wants to bet, though, that the worst match of the night (Big Show vs. Cena) goes on last?ย
Iโll buy every reader at B/R a steak dinner if it doesnโt.
