WWE News: Likely Card for Next Month's No Way Out Pay-Per-View Revealed
SPOILER WARNING: The following article contains SPOILERS from this Friday’s SmackDown, so STOP reading if you like to be surprised.
On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, it was announced that John Cena would face the newly heel Big Show at June’s No Way Out pay-per-view.
That will be the main event of the show because, well, because Cena has been in the main event of the last four pay-per-views, and I wouldn’t expect that to change anytime soon.

As for the rest of the card, chances are you probably have a good idea what matches will round out No Way Out.
But just in case you don’t, PWInsider.com (via WrestlingInc.com) is providing you with the likely card for next month’s PPV:
"Below is what's currently planned for WWE's No Way Out pay-per-view in June:
* John Cena vs. Big Show
* WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan, possibly with Kane involved somehow
* World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
* WWE Intercontinental Champion Christian vs. Cody Rhodes
* Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho
"
I think that most WWE fans saw this card coming.
They teased a rematch between Punk and Bryan on Monday’s Raw, and that match is a lock for No Way Out.
The only thing I’m not sure about is Kane’s involvement. Although he has inserted himself smack dab into the middle of this feud, I’m not sure the WWE wants to ruin it (yes, it will be ruined if Kane’s involved) by having Kane do a run-in or even by adding him to the bout to make it a Triple Threat.
That’s completely unnecessary. Let Bryan and Punk, the two best performers in the WWE at the moment, get the spotlight.
As for the World Heavyweight Championship match, Del Rio will, in fact, earn a title shot against Sheamus on this week’s SmackDown, and that match will indeed take place.
No surprise there, because there really aren’t many other options for Sheamus to feud with at the moment.
Neither Orton vs. Jericho nor Rhodes vs. Christian should come as a surprise, either, after Jericho’s attack on Orton on Monday’s Raw and Christian’s big Intercontinental Championship win at Over the Limit.
I don’t know about you, but these are two matches I’m really excited about seeing.
We just watched Christian vs. Rhodes on Sunday, but it’ll be much better with more build and more time, and although we’ve seen Orton vs. Jericho before, I have no problem with seeing two great workers in a match against one another.
When you combine Orton/Y2J, ADR/Sheamus and Rhodes/Christian, No Way Out is shaping up to have a pretty damn good card.
Who wants to bet, though, that the worst match of the night (Big Show vs. Cena) goes on last?
I’ll buy every reader at B/R a steak dinner if it doesn’t.
