NHL Playoffs 2012: Kings' Strong Showing Proves They'll Hoist Stanley Cup
The Los Angeles Kings will dominate in the Stanley Cup Final en route to Lord Stanley's cup. Their possible opponents, the New York Rangers or New Jersey Devils, will have no chance against the Kings in a best of seven series.
After such a dismal regular season, the Kings' playoff performance has shown the conviction of this team.
No one outside of their locker room believed that this team could adjust to the playoffs after having snuck into the postseason.

With the coaching change and midseason drama that accompanied the Kings, no team, under normal circumstances, could flourish under such turmoil.
The Kings did and they would have told everyone this secret, but no one listened.
Their overtime victory against the Phoenix Coyotes was proof of their conviction and belief. This wasn't a team that was happy to be in the playoffs or even settled enough to hoist the Clarence Campbell Bowl.
This was a team with expectations and with its sight now fixated on Lord Stanley's cup, expect no difference in its play in the finals.
The captain of the Los Angeles Kings, Dustin Brown, even stated his intentions to not touch the Clarence Campbell Bowl.
It isn't that the Kings aren't proud of their recent accomplishments, but rather they are looking to meet their own expectations.
I'm sure the Rangers or the Devils will prove to be a worthy opponent, but it isn't about them.
Rather, it's finally about the Los Angeles Kings.
