5 Reasons Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H Must Be WWE's Next Main Event

Riley KontekJun 7, 2018

Although Brock Lesnar has returned to the WWE in hopes to increase viewership and drive ratings, he has only participated in one match, appeared on one pay-per-view, and been on TV a couple of times.

For a company trying to increase audience and ratings, they are dropping the ball with Lesnar.

Lesnar is a guy that the audience wants to see and will pay to see.

No Way Out is coming up next month, and Lesnar and Triple H should serve as the main event of the evening, whether it is a cage match or a Hell in a Cell.

The Jig Is Up

1 of 5

Although we all know professional wrestling is made up of storylines, the storyline where Lesnar broke Triple H's arm with a kimura has been shown to be fake. Although hardcore fans knew Triple H's arm was not actually broken, there were plenty of fans who thought otherwise.

In that case, the jig is up. If they want to salvage the feud, they need to have Lesnar and Triple H headline No Way Out. I do not know how they are going to pull off Triple H's arm healing, but I'm sure there are ways to get around it.

As stated before, a Hell in a Cell or cage match would be a perfect match for these two.

Brock Needs to Be Utilized

Brock Lesnar is a huge draw, just ask the UFC. I am sure the WWE knows, but they have not been using Lesnar as much as they should.

Getting him back on TV immediately would be key for increasing their ratings on Raw, which have been slumping lately. Getting Triple H on TV immediately would be another key to attracting viewers, so this feud needs to be utilized immediately.

Lesnar has plenty of appearances on his contract left, so might as well use them now while the company's ratings are slumping.

No Way out Is Perfect for "Hardcore Match"

3 of 5

No Way Out is the perfect pay-per-view for a cage match or a Hell in a Cell, which is the type of match I want to see Lesnar and Triple H in.

The cage would be perfect for Lesnar, who is a brute and would brutalize Triple H. Similarly, Triple H is the "Cerebral Assassin" and thrives in the cage/Hell in a Cell environment.

These two would put on an amazing match in this environment, so it needs to happen. No Way Out is the perfect time for the match.

Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Had a Horrible Main Event

4 of 5

Over the Limit ended up being a great pay-per-view. That was until the main event came and screwed that all up.

John Cena and John Laurinaitis should not have been the main attraction of the card. If anything, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan should have had that honor. The match was a joke and robbed the viewers of a good main event.

The WWE needs to make up for that travesty. No Way Out is the place to make up for it, and Lesnar vs. Triple H is the match that could erase the memory of Over the Limit.

Pay-Per-View Buyrate Would Be Huge

5 of 5

Just having a headliner like Lesnar vs. Triple H would drive buyrates on any pay-per-view. Put it on No Way Out with a gimmick, and you have yourself a big money maker.

Casual wrestling fans and possibly non-wrestling fans would pay to see that. Lesnar is a draw in himself, but Triple H and a steel cage would make a big profit for the WWE.
