WWE Over the Limit 2012: Biggest Winners and Losers from Sunday's Epic Event
Over the Limit 2012 is in the books, and although it wasn't as exciting as the WWE's recent pay-per-view events, it still carried some of the same heavy implications.
As always, some performers won big, while others suffered devastating defeats. Here are the biggest winners and losers from Sunday's primetime event.
Winner: John Laurinaitis

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Seeing as how he was the only guy fighting for his job, Laurinaitis has to be considered the biggest winner from Over the Limit.
Although his match was the most boring and confusing of the event, Laurinaitis can't complain. After all, he still does have his job.
It's just a shame the writers couldn't come up with something better than this ridiculous match for the main event.
Winner: Christian
In his unexpected and triumphant return to the ring, Christian won a People Power Battle Royal, then defeated Cody Rhodes to take back the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
It's Christian's fourth career Intercontinental title, and after his recent bouts with injuries, it should come as the most satisfying.
It was a brilliant night for Christian, and for wrestling fans everywhere.
Loser: The Miz
The Miz's career has embarked on an all-out freefall, with the most recent low point being his dance-off and subsequent defeat to Brodus Clay.
It was an embarrassing night for the former champ, who was on top of the wrestling world not long ago. Now, he's doing the Thriller and losing to an unimpressive Clay.
Hopefully The Miz enjoyed his run while it lasted, because he's clearly being cast into WWE oblivion.
Loser: Cody Rhodes
Rhodes was the only high-profile titleholder to lose his belt on Sunday, falling to Christian. Now, it's unclear where he goes from here.
Last time he lost the belt, he regained it within a month. However, I can't see him pulling off that feat again.
