Lucian Bute vs. Carl Froch: Bute's 5 Biggest Knockouts

Justin TateJun 7, 2018

Lucian Bute has a highlight reel of 24 wonderful knockouts. He plans to make Englishman Carl Froch his 25th victim.

Bute and Froch plan to come together in what will be a sure-fire hit on May 26.

For those that may not have been privileged enough to be familiar with the greatest knockout hits of Bute, here's a reminder before he adds Froch to the ever-expanding highlight reel.

Bute vs. Miranda

1 of 5

Edison Miranda thought he could fly when he put his hands on his hips to strike a Superman pose.

It turns out he could. He flew straight to the canvas on a Bute left uppercut.

Bute vs. Andrade

2 of 5

Bute suffered a major amount of criticism for his "win" over Librado Andrade in the first fight.

But in the second fight, Bute ignored how strong Andrade's chin is in favor of showing how strong his body punching can be.

Andrade never saw it coming.

Bute vs. Mendy

3 of 5

Jean Paul Mendy was an undefeated fighter with an okay resume before he met up with Bute.

Bute took that "0" and gave him a lot of experience to add to his resume, including how to change direction mid-run due to a fight-ending left hook.

Bute vs. Brinkley

4 of 5

If there's one thing Jesse Brinkley can't be called, it's a quitter. Brinkley was off the canvas so many times that one would would question if there was ice in the ring. This is Canada after all?

Bute vs. Magee

5 of 5

Brian Magee gave Lucian Bute a decent fight, but the Canadian's signature bodyshots began working their magic.

Magee eventually fell from a beautifully timed uppercut in Round 10. For now, the Bute legend continues.
