For the longest time, I thought the featherweights and bantamweights were the most exciting fighters to watch in the UFC.

Then, the flyweights came along, and I had to reconsider my opinion. They are fast, exciting and never seem to tire. When the UFC first announced they would be creating a flyweight division, I, along with many fans, didn't know how to react.

After watching the first event I could say a few things. First, I've never seen fighters move that fast before. Second, I desperately want to see more fights like this. And finally, how long did it take Ian McCall to grow that moustache?

Joseph Benavidez put his name in the title mix after a TKO victory against Yasuhiro Urushitani. His victory also sent a message to all other UFC flyweights. Benavidez, whose only two losses were closely contested fights against bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, is the real deal and has the skills to back it up.

The other flyweight match of the night led to some controversy through a judges scoring error.

This blunder stole a victory from one of the fighters, and it also stole an exciting fourth round for fans. Based on what I saw in the fight, the rematch between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall should be as exciting as the original fight.

I see McCall utilizing his superior wrestling after stunning Johnson with punches and finishing him with a ground-and-pound TKO victory.

The final for the flyweight belt I predict will be between Joseph Benavidez and Ian McCall.

Both men have power in their fists, excellent wrestling skills and are dangerous submissions. I believe that Joseph Benavidez will win this fight and become the first-ever UFC flyweight champion.

His combo of powerful strikes, wrestling and submissions will be enough to put away McCall for a KO or TKO victory. Benavidez was an elite bantamweight, and at flyweight, he will be a champion.
