Saturday’s Top Contenders

I'll Have Another

After a huge win at the Kentucky Derby, I’ll Have Another will try to continue his unlikely Triple Crown bid by holding off the strong 11-horse field. While this horse won’t be sneaking up on anyone this time around, there may be enough juice left in the tank to return I’ll Have Another to the winner’s circle.

Bodemeister

After proving that this horse has the speed and strength to get out front early in the race and hold on to a lead for the majority of a race, it’s all about controlling the stamina and energy of Bodemeister. If the jockey can get Bodemeister running out front without burning him out early again, there is no doubt that he could take the Preakness.

Went the Day Well

As far as surprises go, Went the Day Well's owner Barry Irwin knows all about it from his horse last season in Animal Kingdom. With a great trainer and a great owner, Went the Day Well is the kind of bet too hard to stay away from. Went the Day Well will factor in the finish.
