WWE over the Limit 2012 Predictions: Why Johnny Ace Will Defeat John Cena
John Laurinaitis doesn't have what it takes to beat John Cena on his own accord, but I predict he is going to walk away with a victory at the 2012 Over the Limit nonetheless.
Johnny Ace is 46 years old, and spends more time these days fulfilling his managerial duties than training for fights. You can hardly expect him to be able to beat Cena in a one-on-one matchup without any outside interference.
That being said, there is no way this match goes down without any interference, regardless of the stipulations laid out by the WWE.

Per ProWrestling.net:
"...there will not be a special referee, no one is allowed at ringside, the only way to win is by pinfall or submission, and any superstar who interferes in the match will be immediately terminated. Also, Laurinaitis will be fired if he loses the match.
"
The WWE is full of contradictions.
As far as I'm concerned, laying out these stipulations guarantees they will be broken. The one thing you can always expect from these events is that there will be some shocking developments that will change the landscape of the company.
They like to keep things edgy at all times, and the best way to stir up trouble is to script it.
There are a couple of different ways I see this playing out.
One way Laurinaitis could win is if Lord Tensai and Sakamoto show up and attack Cena like they did on Monday Night Raw after Extreme Rules. They could beat him up for a while, draining him of his energy and strength, so Laurinaitis could then take advantage of Cena's weakened state.
The second and more likely scenario that I see playing out would be for Brock Lesnar to make a special appearance. If anyone is bound to break the rules it would be Lesnar, and since he's already out of the WWE (wink, wink) he's the perfect man to run interference for Laurinaitis.
He would team up with Johnny Ace to beat Cena's brains in for a while, allowing the aging star to beat his younger rival.
All things being equal, Cena should easily handle Laurinaitis. Unfortunately for Cena, things aren't going to go down that way when the action commences at Over the Limit.
