Preakness 2012: Went the Day Well Will Explode on Shorter Pimlico Track

Went the Day Well will race from the No. 5 gate in the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes.

Expect this speedy colt to run a blistering pace at Pimlico. He is one of the fastest horses in this race, and was not far away from winning the Kentucky Derby.

Two-and-a-half lengths separated Went the Day Well from I'll Have Another's victorious run down the backstretch.
