Charles Barkley Shakeweight Video: Sir Charles Gets His Tone on

Inside the NBA is always good for a haunting memory or two. On Tuesday night, the crew gave us a couple of sights that will forever be fused into our subconscious—and we want them out. 

I am not proud of myself. 

That is all I can say in a night wherein I waited for Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal to have a Shirt-Off contest. Yes, I waited around to see two pudgy men take their shirts off, and I feel just as proud of that fact as you can imagine I do. 

There was another moment that will have me a little off kilter until I drink it off this weekend. It came earlier in the program when Shaq mentioned the impending Shirt Off and offered one last chance to tone up for Sir Charles. He handed over a shake weight, an instrument formed by two men who got extremely high one day and bet each other they could get rich of the stupidest idea. 

That may not be true. 

What is true is the fact that Barkley took to the shake weight with the zeal of a young man finding his first Playboy. It was awkward.

This wasn't the first time that Barkley has taken on the magnificence that is the Shake Weight. Many will remember his first foray which can be seen here. 

I think we have seen quite enough of the Shake Weight and anyone using them, especially on TV.
