Lithuanian Striker Scores, Strips, Runs Through Construction Area (Video)
Dodgy goal. Even dodgier celebration.
For today's B/R World Football Viral Video of the Day, we present you Mr. Rostyslav Diakiv.
As you can see in the footage, Diakiv was the beneficiary of an awful backpass during a recent game between his FK Kruoja Pakruojis and VMFD Zalgiris Vilnius in the Lithuanian A Lyga.

Next, we learn that, besides having lengthy club names over there in Lithuania, they apparently have strikers with an affinity for odd goal celebrations.
Keep watching as Diakiv scores, whips off his shirt and then runs around in an unfinished construction area behind the pitch.
What is he doing there? No one really knows.
I think that, maybe, he was feeling nature's call and momentarily forgot where he was. But before he could make (an even bigger) fool of himself, he reconsidered his options.
Why else round the corner and then turn around so quickly?
Here's what Metro had to say about the whole event:
"The goalscorer celebrated as if he had scored a 40-yard screamer, whipping off his top and throwing it in the air, before running over to an adjoining building site behind one of the goals.
After running past a wheelbarrow and stepladder, the forward then jogged around a sand pit but managed to avoid stepping on any nails.
He then ducked back under some plastic tape before he was mobbed by his jubilant team-mates at the corner of the pitch
We wonder if that's a bookable offence?
"
As far as I know, taking off one's shirt to celebrate a goal is worthy of a yellow card almost anywhere.
I think he should have gotten a double booking for the stupidity of his celebration.
What say you?
