Big Show Fired: John Laurinaitis Collects More Enemies with Latest Stunt

Ryan RudnanskyJun 7, 2018

John Laurinaitis found a way to collect more enemies on WWE Raw on Monday night, firing Big Show and showing him up in the process.

He told Show to get down on his knees and beg on Monday. When Show did so, showing the humility and dedication that you should reward, Laurinaitis told him it wasn't enough.

He fired Show on the spot while the veteran wrestler sobbed in the ring.

If this is the way the Raw general manager is going to run things from now on, he's not going to find a lot of wrestlers willing to lay their hearts out on the line. You disrespect a well-known wrestler like that and there is bound to be some backlash.

Of course, Show was fired because of footage shown of him mocking Laurinaitis last week, but you can't exactly blame him. Laurinaitis is almost asking to be mocked these days and he gave another reason on Monday why WWE fans should be furious over his management lately.

Everyone is going to be gunning for Laurinaitis now after a disgraceful decision. I'm actually surprised Show didn't retaliate. Laurinaitis made him look like fool and disrespected him to no end.

Show wasn't a superstar, but he showed his desire when he begged to remain in Raw. He deserved to stay on his performance alone on Monday.

There is some speculation that Show will turn heel on Sunday at Over the Limit, aiding Laurinaitis in his match against John Cena.

If Laurinaitis loses that match, it is he who will be fired, so Show could potentially get brought back if he helps Laurinaitis come away victorious. Plus, he's not in the WWE anymore, so it doesn't exactly qualify as outside help.

But it doesn't seem right that Show has to suck up to Laurinaitis.

Nobody should have to do that.
