Devin Ebanks, Kobe Bryant and Most Embarrassing Moment from Lakers' Blowout Loss
It was like watching a family member get an unrelenting heap of noogies and all I could do was watch while Reggie Miller called the action. The Lakers were being mollywhopped by the Thunder and kept finding new and inventive ways to make this thing more embarrassing.
Here's the thing, kiddies. The Thunder had some fun little moments of awkward themselves. As you will see, this game was ugly all around, even in the stands.
Here is the only breakdown of an awful mess that you will ever need. Forget the x's and o's for a second and watch the madness off the court.
The final was 119-90. Anyone that watched knew the Lakers were trounced, pummeled, and drubbed. I wish I could say they were run out of the building, but they couldn't even do that right.
Here are Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum on the bench after the game ended.
Things they must be talking about, via Stevie J. Twitter feed:
- Ways to make the Thunder look better.
- Proper method to vanish in a pivotal game.
- Where they plan to vacation in a few days.
This was just one of the few moments that made this blowout watchable. I felt like I was watching a snuff film and every once in a while Craig Sager would pop out in his clown suit.
Bizarre.
Thunder Fan
Let's just start with something awkward from an Oklahoma City Thunder fan because it makes me feel better.
This fan comes down to get one more churro from the concession stand but is blocked by a man wearing an awful suit.
I'm not sure how he didn't notice Sager or the camera crews, but the awkward way he tries to get around is priceless.
Russell Westbrook
Let's keep it on the Thunder for just one more moment because this picture makes me feel so much better.
The Thunder star has been taking flack for his red glasses that were apparently stolen from Sally Jessie Raphael's collection. I have more questions about his shirt that looks like a print better served on a toddler's onesie.
Devin Ebanks
I was genuinely surprised that neither Andrew Bynum nor Metta World Peace ever lashed out on Thunder players out of frustration.
However, we do have a meltdown video of the night. It comes courtesy of Devin Ebanks and his Steve Urkel physique.
You wouldn't think a blowout could be so interesting. As you can see, it really was. The last word comes from Kobe Bryant.
He is asked if the Lakers can guard the Thunder and he answers in a way only he can. Yup, it was that kind of night.
