WWE News: New Chris Jericho T-Shirt to Be Released Soon

According to pwtorch.com and Chris Jericho (by way of Twitter), WWE is releasing a new Chris Jericho T-shirt on Monday, May 21, 2012.  

It is the first Jericho T-shirt released in years, but fans need not get too excited.  It's not a great piece of merchandise. 

Jericho tweeted the shirt design for the world to see.

It plays off Jericho's recent angle, where he has challenged so-called Jericho wannabes likes Kofi Kingston and CM Punk.

Historically, WWE has not made a ton of quality shirts for Jericho.  

While CM Punk and Steve Austin's shirts have been marketing strokes of genius, Jericho's have often fallen flat.

This blue and orange mess looks like the logo for an Arena Football League team.  

He also had the misfortune of having his face printed on a blasé gray design.  

The newest design is much too literal, pasting a dead bee under Jericho's classic Vitruvian Man-esque pose.  

The bee on black design likely won't be a hit.

With the far superior Jerichohol shirt still available, only the most diehard Jericho fans will go pick this new one up.
