John Cena: Appearance on Raw Will Be Perfect Escape from Divorce
John Cena will return to Raw tonight for the first time since it was revealed the WWE's biggest star will be going through what's expected to become a messy divorce. The appearance should provide Cena with the perfect escape from an otherwise trying situation.
There are few superstars who relish the opportunity to perform in front of the WWE Universe more than Cena, who has come to love the diehard fans who constantly chant "Cena sucks!" Personal problems haven't held him down before, and he's not about to let that change now.
The chance to go back out in front of the crowd to continue building his match with John Laurinaitis at Over the Limit will allow Cena to stop worrying about all the outside stuff. He probably needs a breather from it by now, anyway.

Wrestling fans are more in the know than ever before thanks to all of the different news sites, so a sizable portion of the fans in Pittsburgh will know about Cena's divorce. It will be interesting to see if that changes the way he gets treated.
They might treat him more favorably knowing what he's going through outside the ring, but it's more likely that they will simply use the divorce as ammunition. Cena has heard a lot of trash talk in the past, but tonight may take it to an entirely new level.
Luckily, Cena has had plenty of time to prepare for the show, so nothing should surprise him. He understands he's fair game since he's a public figure, but he's not the type of person to let it impact him in a negative way.
All told, no matter what the fans chant or what he's feeling backstage before his music hits, the experience itself will help him rebound from a tough week. There are probably several more on the horizon before the dust settles and he can move on.
Outside of the ring, he's just a normal dude living his life. But once he steps between the ropes, he transforms into "Super Cena" and that's the persona fans can expect to see tonight, almost as if nothing has changed on a personal level.
Cena wouldn't have it any other way. He's there to entertain the crowd and that's exactly what he'll do, for better or worse.
