WWE News: Backstage Concern over When Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar Will Take Place
Triple H returned to Monday Night Raw a couple of weeks ago for the first time since WrestleMania 28. Yet he came back only to be immediately written off of TV again, as he suffered a “broken arm” during that vicious attack by Brock Lesnar.
The logical assumption is that Lesnar assaulting Triple H was done to set up a major feud and match between the two, and I think it would be nothing short of a major shocker if that match didn’t happen sooner or later.
The question for WWE’s creative team, however, is when that match should happen? Apparently, that’s a topic that is causing a lot of backstage panic in the WWE.

"WWE sources indicated this weekend that officials are "in a panic" over the Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H storyline and may move the match to June's No Way Out pay-per-view. The feeling among others is that they need to save the match for SummerSlam and having it in June will be a huge mistake.
"
I do have to agree that the WWE is in a sticky situation here, because it has so many factors to consider. For starters, they have to work around Lesnar’s contract, which has him working a limited number of dates throughout the course of the next year. That means that the WWE will have to find a way to keep this feud going with Lesnar only sporadically appearing on TV.
The WWE also has to have a SummerSlam match lined up for Lesnar if the Triple H match is going to take place at No Way Out. And we have to consider the possibility that Lesnar and Triple H will wrestle each other more than once.
This, I’m sure, is probably creating a ton of headaches in the WWE. It’s already tricky enough to book a feud between two major stars, but it’s even harder to do so when one’s a part-timer like Lesnar is.
All that being said, I don’t want to see the WWE rush this Triple H vs. Lesnar match like it did with Lesnar vs. John Cena. While the Lesnar/Cena match at Extreme Rules was very entertaining, it was a feud that really could have benefited from some added build, even if it was just another few weeks. The same can be said about Lesnar vs. Triple H.
If the WWE brings back Lesnar just a few weeks after he supposedly “quit” the WWE, then this is just going to be the latest angle in a long line of storylines that have seen WWE stars quit and/or get fired, only to return a few weeks later.
If the creative team is serious about making this quitting storyline believable, then it will keep Lesnar off of TV until June, or perhaps even July, and then start building to a big Triple H vs. Lesnar match at SummerSlam.
I know that some WWE officials likely want to rush this feud so that No Way Out can have a match that’s a big draw, but in the end, all that taking Lesnar vs. Triple-H off of SummerSlam is really gonna do is make that pay-per-view’s card worse.
SummerSlam is supposed to be a “Big Four” PPV, but it needs a match like this to truly be one.
