Grading 10 WWE Superstars and Their Rumblers Action Figures (Part 3)

Luis CamposJun 7, 2018

It has been a while since I have played with WWE action figures. Not because I am mature or too old or anything like that. I am a poor college student and the small amount of money I have is spent on other stuff.

Besides, the only people I know with WWE action figures are my 10-year-old cousins (and they never want to share). But the other day, I did notice that they had these cool toys—I mean totally lame baby toys—called WWE Rumblers.

I decided to go online to check them out and while I found out that they were totally out of my price range, I also found that some were cooler than others.

In the interest of saving the time and money of my fellow pro-wrestling fans I will be grading each Rumblers action figure based on three criteria.

1. Likeness (how much the figure resembles the actual WWE superstar).

2. Playability (how likely it is that a child will play with this figure).

3. Coolness (how cool the figure looks regardless of other factors).

Purchase at your own risk!

Cody Rhodes

1 of 10

As a Cody Rhodes fan, I am not sure if this Rumblers figure does him any justice.

On the one hand, the addition of Rhodes' mask is cool (I guess). On the other hand, I have no idea from the image if you can take off the mask or what Rhodes' face looks like without the mask on. As for the figure's pose, it actually looks pretty cool.

On the whole not a bad figure.

Sheamus

2 of 10

As a bearded gentleman, I am a fan of Sheamus' fiery-beard, but honestly, the look on this Rumblers figure doesn't cut it. Instead of looking like an Irish badass, Sheamus here looks like an Ed Hardy t-shirt wearing a-hole.

Pass.

The Miz

3 of 10

Another unremarkable figure from the Rumblers series.

The Miz's pose for this figure is kind of cool, but like most figures with a cool pose, that limits the figure's playability.

True to real life, this Miz figure looks the part, but can't do much.

Jack Swagger

4 of 10

Maybe it's just me, but does this Jack Swagger look a little like Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Goldust

5 of 10

Over the years Goldust has had a long and meaningful career as a wrestler. His collaboration with Booker T as a tag-team is only one of the highlights that this man has had in his career. Nonetheless, Goldust as always been a bit on the freakier side of things (not very PG).

Truth be told, are there really any kids out there that want this figure?

Kofi Kingston

6 of 10

This Kofi Kingston Rumblers figure may not look much like him, but it does look a little like Andre 3000 from the band (are they are band or just a duo?) Outkast. (Whatever happened to them, anyway?)

If you like Andre 3000 and need his action figure in your life, definitely get this "Kofi" figure, otherwise skip it.

Drew McIntyre

7 of 10

Sure this Rumblers figure looks like Drew McIntyre (sort of), but the pose they gave the figure really limits they toy's playability. It's like someone in the WWE said, "Let's take a cool looking guy and put him in the wimpiest pose possible."

Coolness: C

Alberto Del Rio

8 of 10

Although there are some minor issues I have with this Alberto Del Rio Rumblers figure, my main concern is that it will break as soon as I open it from the box. (Also, where is Ricardo Rodriguez?)

Edge

9 of 10

By Odin's beard! Is it me or does this figure look less like Edge and more like Thor? Seriously, it looks like Edge's hand is even molded in such a way as if Thor's hammer was supposed to fit in there.

Playability: B

Coolness: B

John Cena

10 of 10

If you are a John Cena fan, buying this figure is a must. But then again, if you are, you're  probably 7-10 years old and probably own all the Rumblers figures anyways.
