Manchester City Parade 2012: Route, Time, Date and More
For the first time in 44 years, Mancunians will be crooning "Blue Moon" in the streets to celebrate Manchester City's newfound reign as the champions of English football.
City stormed back for a dramatic 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers at the Etihad Stadium on "Survival Sunday," thanks to 11th-hour goals by Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero. The victory left them even on points with archrivals Manchester United, who defeated Sunderland 1-0, but begat them their first-ever English Premier League trophy on a superior goal differential.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the festivities are scheduled to begin on Monday, May 14th with a question-and-answer session with players at 6:00 p.m. BST at Albert Square, which will open to the public at 4:00 p.m. BST.
