WWE News: Daniel Bryan DVD Release Date Announced and Other DVD Updates

A Daniel Bryan DVD is scheduled to be released in North America on August 7th.  

According to WWEDVDNews.com, Sheamus' Superstar Collection DVD will be out on the same day.  

Once again Bryan and Sheamus' paths will intersect.  

Each DVD will be one hour and part of the Superstar Collection series which focuses on a single WWE superstar and features five matches and bonus material.

For the fans' sake, their WrestleMania XXVIII match better not appear on either man's DVD.  

WrestlingInc.com reports that Bryan's DVD will feature his first WWE match.  Will they consider his loss on NXT to Chris Jericho his first match or his first appearance on RAW?

Here's hoping they include Bryan's match vs. The Miz and John Morrison at Hell in a Cell 2010 as well as his Beat the Clock gem against Batista.  

Sheamus' DVD is set to include the disappointing Tables Match he had against John Cena at TLC 2009.

Zack Ryder and John Cena's Superstar Collection DVD come out on July 10th.  

I'm not sure what five matches they're going to find for Ryder.  As popular and exciting as he's been, he hasn't been in a host of classic encounters.  

WWE will also be releasing some other intriguing collections over the coming months.

A Falls Count Anywhere match compilation comes out on June 26th.  Undertaker: The Streak will hit stores on July 24th.  

If they include his battles against Shawn Michaels and Triple H in their entirety then it will be well worth the money.   

The 50 Greatest Finishing Moves is scheduled for August 21st.

That may be an interesting watch, but is more fitting for a Netflix viewing.  

I’m most excited about The Best of the WCW Clash of the Champions DVD.  That means getting to watch Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Arn Anderson and Sting in his prime. 

It should be a fantastic collection. 

With all those and more coming out, there will be more than enough ways to spend your money on WWE merchandise.
