2012 MLB Draft: Comparing Prospect Pipeline and Baseball America's Mock Drafts

In the wake of Jim Callis of Baseball America publishing his first mock draft, I thought it would be interesting to compare it to the mock draft I published on Tuesday.

Since both Callis and I will inevitably put together several more respective mock drafts as the 2012 MLB First-Year Player Draft (June 4-6) approaches, this is strictly a side-by-side comparison that’s devoid of hard-hitting analysis.

For future mock draft comparisons, however, there will definitely be analysis on why one specific player is ranked higher (or lower) and how his draft stock might be affected in the coming weeks leading up to the draft.
