WWE Over the Limit 2012: Expect Chris Jericho to Finally Register PPV Win
Enough is enough, WWE.
Chris Jericho has been back with the company since January 2 and doesn’t have a single memorable win to show for it.
Now is the time to give him that PPV win, and what better way to do it than at Over the Limit.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
He’ll be in a title match with the world heavyweight championship belt on the line against Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton.
When John Laurinaitis first announced this match on Monday Night Raw, I felt like Jericho was being disrespected. He's too big of a star to deal with guys like Del Rio.
Having said that, in 2012, I guess he isn’t. His storied past means nothing to the average 14-year-old that has grown up with CM Punk.
Therefore, when Jericho continues to get beat by Punk at PPV events like Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania and Extreme Rules, his star power takes a big hit each and every time.
Which brings us to Over the Limit.
Jericho signed a contract with the company that will only last through the summer. There's no way Jericho would have agreed to come back unless he was guaranteed some sort of big-time win.
This is the perfect opportunity to get back on track against stars without super in front of their name.
Del Rio and Orton will pose as the filler before an eventual showdown between Sheamus and Jericho ends the match.
Sheamus seems to be on the fast track to super-stardom, but he isn’t there yet. He looked vulnerable at Extreme Rules and is certainly beatable. Expect Jericho to bust out the “Walls of Jericho” after avoiding one of the patented Brogue Kicks from Sheamus.
Jericho didn’t agree to come back just to get beaten down by the new-age stars of the WWE universe. He has to win a big match at some point with time running out on his contract.
Expect Jericho to capture the world heavyweight belt and regain the respect of his older fans and young WWE fanatics alike.
