World Football Strange but True: Juventus Defender Pimps His Ride
Quick, somebody call Xzibit. We've got a great candidate for a new episode of Pimp My Ride.
This fella is Juventus defender Paolo De Ceglie. No, I'm not terribly familiar with his work either, but De Ceglie recently posted a really great picture on his official Facebook fan page.
That picture appears above.

De Ceglie, as you can see, is awfully proud of Juve's recent Italian title win. To celebrate the club's 30th Scudetto, De Ceglie placed three stars, atop an Italian flag background, on his… uh, Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Bellissimo, and classy, too.
But as you'll surely be quick to point out, Juventus's official Scudetto count stands at just 28.
Dirty Tackle explains:
"Despite being stripped of two titles as a result of the Calciopoli scandal in 2006, Juve have made it clear that they are still counting both of them, putting them at 30 (hence one star for every 10 titles) instead of the officially recognized 28. And this three-star statement isn't just being made on De Ceglie's poor Jeep, the club also put up "30" banners outside their offices and plastered it across their stadium.
"
Hey, more power to 'em. I grew up in a state where it's cool to claim more titles than you've actually won. So why not?
I say, if you've got it, flaunt it.
