Match Results for This Friday's WWE Smackdown Taping

The following report I'm about to give reveals details from tonight's taping of WWE Smackdown which will air on Friday, May 11, as reported from WrestleZone.com. If you prefer to wait to see what goes on Friday night's episode, please do not read this article any further.

Here is a non-spoiler listing of the matches you can expect for this Friday's episode of Smackdown:

Sheamus and Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio

A.J. vs Kaitlyn

Daniel Bryan vs Big Show

Ryback vs Heath Slater

Antonio Cesaro vs Alex Riley

Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio

R-Truth vs Jack Swagger

Titus O'Neal and Darren Young vs Zack Ryder and Santino Marella

Brodus Clay vs Hunico

Sheamus vs Chris Jericho

Here are details on angles and match outcomes from tonight's taping:

A rematch for RAW's tag team match with Sheamus and Randy Orton against Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho started off the show with Del Rio making his entrance without any luxury car due to the small size of the arena.

Tensions between Sheamus and Orton were shown as both men delivered hard tag-ins to one another during the match. It ended in a no-contest when the referee lost control as all four men, along with Ricardo Rodriguez, brawled in and out of the ring, leading to referees having to come out and break up the brawl.

Orton and Sheamus would get the better of their foes and had a stare down with one another afterward.

A.J. won her match against Kaitlyn. Daniel Bryan would come to the ring after the match with A.J. and exclaim that he would move on with Kaitlyn, leading an infuriated A.J. to leave the ring after looking like she would slap Bryan.

Daniel Bryan won his match with Big Show when John Laurinaitis stopped the match in Bryan's ruling while Show was in Bryan's Yes Lock. John then made Show apologize again and berated him. 

Ryback won against Heath Slater in a squash match.

Teddy Long was made a special guest referee for the Alex Riley/ Antonio Cesaro match. Cesaro would win the match and proceed to have Aksana come into the ring where he made out with her in front of Teddy after Aksana declared that she and Teddy were just friends yet loved Cesaro.

Randy Orton won his match against Alberto Del Rio by disqualification when Ricardo interfered in the match and Del Rio would use his cross armbreaker on Orton.

A match with R-Truth and Jack Swagger came next where Kofi Kingston accompanied Truth to the ring and Swagger had Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler with him.

Ziggler would attempt to interfere in the match, but would get hit by Kofi's Trouble in Paradise. R-Truth managed to win over Swagger.

A confrontation between John Cena and John Laurinaitis was announced for next week's RAW.

Titus O'Neal and Darren Young won their tag team match against Santino Marella and Zack Ryder after Ryder was hit with Titus and Darren's finisher. The two would then cut a promo after the match.

A backstage interview with Damien Sandow was conducted by Matt Striker. Sandow claims himself to be a savior and that he is a bright beam of enlightenment.

Brodus Clay is beaten down by Hunico and Camacho before the start of his match with the former. Despite this, Clay wins the match in his typical manner.

Sheamus and Chris Jericho's match ends in a no contest when Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton both come out and the match breaks down into a brawl. Del Rio winds up being hit by the finishers of the three other men and the show ends with Sheamus and Orton having a stare down.
