Liverpool vs. Chelsea Highlights: Reds' Sparkling Victory Shows Progress
To think only three days ago people were questioning Liverpool's direction.
After Tuesday's stunning 4-1 victory over Chelsea, those questions have been answered emphatically.
The Reds scored three goals before Chelsea netted one home on Tuesday, then scored another in the 61st minute. They showed that there is progress being made under Fenway Sports Group, but they simply need more time.

Former Liverpool directing manager Christian Purslow revealed after the Reds' defeat to Chelsea on Saturday that the club was one day away from administration before being sold to Fenway.
Purslow said on Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek program, via ESPN:
""People have short memories. It's only 15-16 months ago we were a day away from being in administration. We are now stable financially.
"It's year one of what they (Fenway) said when they bought the club would be a long journey."
"
Sure enough, Purslow's comments were backed up by the victory at Anfield on Tuesday. The win effectively ended the visitors' top-four dreams.
The fact of the matter is, resurrecting a club takes time and to expect instant success is being unrealistic. Things haven't gone perhaps as well as Liverpool hoped this season, but by no means does that mean the Reds aren't progressing. Victories like this have a way of lifting squads.
The Reds have a long road to go before legitimately challenging for a top-four spot, but every little bit of progress inches them toward that goal.
The lesson of Liverpool's first full season under Fenway Sports Group?
Patience is a virtue.
