UFC on FOX 3 Results: What We Learned from Louis Gaudinot vs. John Lineker

On the Fuel TV portion of UFC on Fox 3, in East Rutheford, Louis Gaudinot and John Lineker put on a show for the fans in attendance, as they had a back and forth battle through their entire fight. It started off with each throwing an insane amount of strikes, and ended with Gaudinot latching onto Lineker's neck with a guillotine and putting him to sleep.

Here's what we learned from the bout.

What we'll remember about this fight: 

There's a lot to remember about this fight. As soon as the first bell rang, these two guys came out flying, and throwing everything that they had at each other. It was like Don Frye-Yoshihiro Takayama minus 100 pounds.

Then we'll remember the finish, where Gaudinot locked in the guillotine, and Lineker fell over unconscious. That was pretty cool.

What we learned about Louis Gaudinot:

Gaudinot has some good striking, but it wasn't enough to keep up with Lineker. His wrestling was the deciding factor in the fight. He's also got a pretty nasty guillotine choke to complement that wrestling game.

125 is his natural weight class and he showed it tonight; he looks like he could make some waves at flyweight.

What we learned about John Lineker:

Lineker has good striking. He likes to go to the body, and he's good at it. He hurt Gaudinot with a couple of shots, and even looked like he rocked him at one point.

And Lineker, like Gaudinot, is more than willing to throw down and scrap, as they threw everything they had at each other for as long as they could.

What's next for Gaudinot:

The flyweight division in the UFC is still pretty thin, maybe Darren Uyenoyama or Yasuhiro Urushitani.

What's next for Lineker:

Lineker will probably get someone coming off a loss; someone like Josh Ferguson.
