WWE: How Eve Will Make an Impact in Her New Role

Ever since turning heel on Raw a few months ago, former Diva Search winner Eve Torres has gone from under-used diva to one of the most high-profile and over female performers in WWE . 

Oh, sure, the returning Layla El may be the new Divas Champion, but there's no question that, in terms of TV time and exposure, she is merely playing second fiddle to Eve's heel act, which has caught on in a big way.

You see, fans love to vociferously boo the vain, obnoxious Eve, and the diva is fast on her way to becoming as over as that other female heat-magnet, Vickie Guerrero.  

Her latest role, as Raw and SmackDown GM John Laurinaitis' right-hand woman, puts her in a perfect position to make even more of an impact in the company, as she carries out the GM's orders and interacts with various wrestlers and personalities on the roster. Per the storyline, she's also been placed in charge of WWE's calamitous women's division.

With this in mind, here are just a few reasons why the star will continue to be dominant on WWE programming.

Her New Heel Character Is Terrific

Ever since she shockingly revealed to the Bella Twins in a backstage segment on Raw several months ago that she had no real feelings for Zack Ryder and was simply using him to aid her career and garner herself publicity, Eve has emerged as one of the most interesting female personalities in WWE.

With her arrogance, vanity and warped self-justification (she tells us that "It's a man's world" and therefore her callous actions are justified as women have to do whatever they can to even the scales), it's no wonder she shines so brightly in WWE storylines and is set to make quite an impact in the company.

She Has Great Promo Skills

With her clear, concise delivery of scripted lines and impressive ability to work up a crowd, the former Diva Search winner is unquestionably one the best talkers in the company. These skills will no doubt aid her as she makes announcements, works out new deals and attempts to instill order over the rambunctious WWE roster.

She Will Make the Divas Division Interesting Again

Let's face it: WWE's women's division has been floundering for quite some time now. The ladies in the company seldom get much time in the ring to show off their skills, nor are they given anything in terms of storyline development or long-term character arcs. The whole division comes off like a badly-booked, achingly dull afterthought, in fact.

However, with Eve recently being placed in charge of the women's roster, that may be set to change.

Indeed, Eve has already clashed with a few of the divas, notably the Bella twins, whom she recently fired after the sisters bickered with her backstage. 

Yup:  Eve has, unsurprisingly, gone all power-mad on us.

And no doubt there are more fireworks to come, as Eve interacts with former friends like Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox and attempts to order them around. Yes, that's going to go down well. 

Crazy as it sounds: with the addition of Eve as the woman in charge and all the rebellious baby faces battling against her, WWE women's division may become riveting television again. 

She Can Continue to Wrestle

With the focus in recent times being on Eve as a character and manager, it's easy to forget she is still a skilled and competent in-ring performer. Indeed, she remains one of the better and most well-rounded female wrestlers in the company. 

So while it may look like Eve has settled into a non-wrestling administrative role, WWE's writing team will undoubtedly call on her to wrestle again at some point as part of an angle with the divas. After all, if she is going to feud with the face divas, the natural progression is that she gets in the ring with them.  

Not content to make an impact outside of the ring, Eve will surely be making one inside it too.
