Usain Bolt Leads Field of Olympic Heavyweights in Jamaican Invitational
Rare as it may seem, there will be a Usain Bolt sighting today.
In his first public attempt of 2012 in the 100-meters, Bolt will finally give the world a glimpse of his fitness level in the lead-up to the Olympic Games this summer in London.
The JN Jamaica International Invitational will provide an Olympics launching point for Bolt and a few of his buddies.
But don't be so blinded by the spotlight on Bolt that you miss the supporting cast.
This meet is loaded.
Bolt's training partner and heir-apparent, Yohan Blake, will run in the 200-meters, American sprint sensation Carmelita Jeter will attempt a sub-11 in the women's 100-meters and world-leading quarter miler Sanya Richards-Ross is toeing the line in the women's 400-meters.
