TNA Wrestling: Eric Bischoff Engaged in Twitter Retaliation with Wrestlers

Eric Bischoff has been quite active in engaging social media verbal warfare on Twitter against two professional wrestlers who worked under him in WCW and TNA in the form of Scott Steiner and Scotty Riggs.

According to WrestlingInc.com yesterday, Bischoff verbally lashed out on Steiner who, for weeks, had been verbally lashing out against TNA and Bischoff on Twitter since being released from the company in March, being strongly critical of Bischoff and Hulk Hogan's continued involvement with the company.

Bischoff started ripping into Steiner when he posted his Twitter status, posting this comment:

"50+ year old man pitching greasy fried chicken in Buford and wrestling indys in front of 250 fans...bitter?"

He then proceeded to tweet multiple comments on his timeline which were bashing Steiner, some of which accused Steiner of drug abuse. Here are a few of the comments below:

"@ScottSteiner U must have a sad f--kin life if all u do is waffle on about @HulkHogan and @EBischoff all day on this #steroidjunkie."

"@ScottSteiner You're tweets make as much sense as your promos did... In other words, you're a babbling, old, drug abusing fool @EBischoff."

"@EBischoff don't listen to the dabbling jealous wreck that is @scottsteiner, WWE needs to offer him the ex-employees the wellness rehab."

The following day, WrestlingInc.com acknowledged his social media verbal tearing against Scotty Riggs, WrestlingInc.com and other wrestling news sites when he came across an interview that the two former conducted for an article last week.

Bischoff overreacted to a comment in the interview when Riggs mistakenly believed Bischoff was responsible for hiring Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara in WCW.

Here was Bischoff's response to the interview:

"Just read an intvw w/ Scotty Riggs about WCW and working for me. He claims I hired Russo and Ferrara. Speaks volumes about these types of Interviews on the 'Death of WCW'. He worked there and is COMPLETELY uniformed about something like that? What a joke. Hes in good company. And people don't understand why I think the internet dirt-sites and crap they post is such a joke. Perfect example."

"Unfortunately uninformed media (advertisers, networks etc) who don't know what a cesspool of b.s. most of these sites contain read them. These idiots hurt the biz they say they are passionate about and don't even know it. 90% of these sites are nothing but garbage. Chow down!"
