Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are still looking for depth in their wide receiver corps. On Wednesday the team worked out Jacoby Jones, who was recently waived by the Texans.

Atlanta Falcons

Former Falcons Jamal Anderson, Chris Doleman and O.J. Santiago are suing the NFL. They've added their names to a list of more than 1,500 former players who claim the NFL hid the dangers of concussions from them.

New Orleans Saints

Suspended linebacker Jonathan Vilma intends to "fight this injustice." Vilma was suspended Wednesday for the entire season for his role in the Saints' bounty system.

If quarterback Drew Brees does not sign a long-term deal and is forced to play the 2012 season under the franchise tag, he'll make $1.023 million per game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Greg Schiano signed another former Rutgers player on Thursday. Defensive tackle Gary Gibson agreed to a two-year deal with the Buccaneers.

Mark Dominik thinks the tight end position is becoming more valuable in the NFL. That's one of the reasons why the team grabbed Drake Dunsmore in the seventh round last weekend.
