Kentucky Derby 2012 TV Schedule: Where You Can Watch Coverage of Classic
The 138th Kentucky Derby takes place on Saturday, May 5 with Bodemeister (4-1) and Union Rags (9-2) installed as favorites. They aren't the only horses to watch in this year's Run for the Roses, though.
In regard to attractive long shots, you may want to consider Creative Cause and I'll Have Another.
Creative Cause races well from behind and has a sneaky presence in the Derby. He was kept in the barn for two days before going out for a gallop on Thursday, as reported by the Associated Press via Sports Illustrated.

His preparation is perfect for a strong Derby run, having eight starts as a two-year-old and three-year-old combined. Be on the lookout for this horse, he is currently listed as a 12-1 underdog.
I'll Have Another has shown the ability to run well in long races. Most recently he won the one and one eighth mile Santa Anita Derby. This was an even more impressive finish considering it was a Grade I race.
He is my favorite long shot at 12-1.
