Newcastle's Demba Ba Bets Fan He'll Score Winner Against Manchester City

Manchester United fans are doing everything they can to help their side retake the Premier League lead from Manchester City.

For one man, that includes making a bet with Newcastle forward Demba Ba.

After City beat United 1-0 on Monday, Jordan McDonald (who goes by the Twitter handle @BigMacc93) sent this tweet to Ba:

McDonald will not be the only Manchester United fan cheering his heart out for Newcastle when the Toon play host to City on May 6th.

With two matches remaining in the season, Newcastle have plenty to play for themselves.

In addition to putting Ba's name on the back of a Manchester United supporter's replica, Alan Pardew's team are in a fight with Arsenal and Tottenham over the final Champions League places.

Newcastle must win their final matches and hope for one or both of the London clubs to drop points if they want to crash the European party next season.

Regardless of his motivation, if Ba does net a winner against City on Sunday, McDonald might start a new fashion trend at Old Trafford.
