Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jabar is set to join what is becoming an extremely crowded group of wide receivers. With the addition of Gaffney, the Patriots now have 13 on their roster.
A look at the depth chart as it stands today:
1. Wes Welker (franchise tag).
2. Brandon Lloyd.
3. Deion Branch.
4. Jabar Gaffney.
5. Donte’ Stallworth.
6. Chad Ochocinco.
7. Julian Edelman.
8. Matthew Slater.
9. Anthony Gonzalez.
10. Tiquan Underwood.
11. Britt Davis.
12. Jeremy Ebert (rookie).
13. Matt Roarke (rookie).
While Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd are considered locks, a handful of these guys are considered legitimate NFL starters.
Because all 13 cannot make the final 53-man roster, the wide receiver spot is sure to be one of the most competitive position battles heading into training camp.
Not a bad problem to have.
