San Diego Chargers: Updated Undrafted Rookies and Drafted Rookies Numbers
The San Diego Chargers drafted seven players in New York last week, but they didn't stop there.
A.J. Smith and the team announced on Monday that they had agreed to contracts with 21 undrafted rookies.
This doesn't mean that all 28 rookies will make the team, but it definitely makes the competition at training camp much more exciting.

Six receivers were signed. Those six will join Malcom Floyd, Robert Meachem, Eddie Royal, Vincent Brown, Richard Goodman, Roscoe Parrish and Michael Spurlock in training camp. Floyd, Meachem, Brown and Royal will be on the team. The other nine will be competing for two or three spots.
Hopefully the Chargers don't lose another guy like Laurent Robinson last year.
Jarrett Lee has a great chance at becoming the third quarterback on the roster. He had a great rating last season in college, while leading his team to a 9-0 record before Jordan Jefferson took over as starter.
Others that have a good chance at making the team include Sean Cattouse and Greg Gatson. San Diego only addressed the secondary in the third round by drafting Brandon Taylor. Therefore, Gatson and Cattouse should add depth, unless veterans are brought in.
In other news, the drafted players for the Chargers were assigned their numbers.
