WWE: Could the Undisputed Championship Make a Return?
With John Laurinaitis becoming the General Manager of both Raw and SmackDown, we've seen the thin line which separates the brands come closer to disappearing.
Sometimes, it's hard to keep track of which superstars belong to which brand with how often they seem to be performing double duty these days.
Guys like Daniel Bryan, Brodus Clay, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger regularly appear on both shows each week, and it seems like the contenders for the top titles no longer have to belong to a particular brand, either.

Monday's Raw saw a couple of SmackDown wrestlers compete in the beat the clock challenge to determine who would face CM Punk for the WWE Championship at Over the Limit.
One of the SmackDown stars actually ended up winning, too.
Daniel Bryan is set to face another ROH alum in CM Punk at Over the Limit in less than three weeks.
With the obvious disregard for the brand split, it seems the WWE may be going back to the format of having everyone under one banner from here on out.
We have seen the United States and Intercontinental champions appearing on both shows as well, and the Tag Team and Divas titles do not seem relegated to a specific show, either.
Now that the brand split is basically over, it seems like WWE could be coming closer to bringing back the Undisputed Championship. The idea of bringing back the title has been talked about in the IWC for a long time and 2012 could be the right time to do it.
WWE has a lot of top-level stars and having two top titles allows them to feature more of these superstars in feuds, but the World Title is never really treated as equal to the WWE Championship.
The World Title matches never close the PPVs and it's usually used as a tester championship to see if someone is ready to be the WWE Champion.
If WWE does decide to bring back the Undisputed Championship, then it also seems likely that they would create a new title belt instead of simply reusing the old belt from the last time.
The WWE Championship spinner belt does not even spin anymore and the big gold belt is not going to be WWE's top title since it was originally a WCW/NWA creation.
We all know how Vince McMahon feels about using ideas that weren't his.
Even though less superstars would have a chance to compete for the top title, it would make it seem like there was truly a top champion in the company instead of two.
If WWE does decide to do this, then they could bring back another defunct championship to fill the void—the Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight or Television Championship would be a great addition to the list.
Bringing back the Undisputed Championship would give off the impression that WWE has only one top dog—the way it should be.
Do you think WWE should bring back the Undisputed Championship?
