Match Results for This Friday's WWE Smackdown Taping (SPOILER)

The following report I'm about to give reveals details from tonight's taping of WWE Smackdown which will air on Friday, May 4, as reported from WrestlingInc.Com. If you prefer to wait to see what goes on Friday night's episode, please do not read this article any further.

If you want to at least know what matches took place on the taping for Friday, here's a spoiler-free rundown of what took place in no particular order:

Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus

R-Truth and Kofi Kingston vs Hunico and Camacho

Brodus Clay vs Jack Swagger

Damien Sandow vs Derrick Bateman

Randy Orton and Big Show vs Kane and Cody Rhodes

Layla vs Natalya

With that said, here's a full summary on angles and matches that took place at the taping:

The show opened with world heavyweight champion Sheamus coming to the ring and asking for a rematch with Daniel Bryan following their match at Extreme Rules on Sunday.

Sheamus winds up winning the match by disqualification when the No. 1 contender for the title, Alberto Del Rio, interfered and applied his cross armbreaker on Sheamus. While Bryan and Del Rio got in a confrontation with one another after this bout, trainers came down to the ring to check on Sheamus' condition.

World Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth won over Hunico and Camacho while A.W., Rosa Mendes, Primo and Epico were watching from the stage during the match.

Brodus Clay won a match with Jack Swagger by disqualification when Dolph Ziggler interfered in the match. Ziggler took a big bump to the floor when he got headbutted by Clay. Ziggler and Swagger beat down on Clay for a bit before the big man eventually got the better of them and chased them out of the ring.

A tag team match with Randy Orton and Big Show against Kane and Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes was announced for later in the night.

A backstage segment featured Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio arguing over who has the right to challenge for Sheamus' world heavyweight title. Eve Torres appears and says she would have to check with doctors to see if Sheamus would be cleared to compete for later tonight in a rematch with Bryan.

Damien Sandow and Derrick Bateman were up next in a match. Sandow chose to ditch the match after delivering a promo where he berated the crowd and Bateman. Ryback winded up replacing Sandow for the match and squashing Bateman.

Randy Orton and Big Show win their tag team match against Kane and Cody Rhodes after Big Show delivered his knockout punch to Cody.

The match between Brodus Clay and Jack Swagger was re-taped to feature a different outcome where Clay won the match by countout.

Divas Champion Layla won against Natalya in a non-title match.

Alberto Del Rio came to the ring to watch the rematch between Daniel Bryan and Sheamus, with the latter coming to the ring with his shoulder bandaged up from Del Rio's earlier attack.  

Sheamus wins against Bryan after delivering a Brogue Kick and is attacked again by Del Rio after the match concluded.
