WWE News: Update on Brock Lesnar's WWE Status After Extreme Rules Blowout

George NolanJun 1, 2018

To those who didn't know of the news I covered from last night, WrestlingInc.com reported last night that Brock Lesnar was upset with the outcome to his match with John Cena.

The match had not gone as originally agreed, where Cena would be injured enough from their match to the point that he would have to be carried from the ring instead of giving his speech following the match. The developments drove Brock to wreck parts of the dressing room backstage and get in a confrontation with WWE officials.

As seen last night on Raw, Lesnar was written out of the storyline and set up for a possible future match with Triple H when he injured The Game's arm.

More details on these developments have come out from WrestlingInc.com. The WWE's new stance on Lesnar is that he should be used to put over the company's top talent with the amount of money they are shelling out for him. Here are more details below:

"

Despite what's an act and what's part of the TV storylines, sources insist that Lesnar's status and future with WWE is a sticky situation. While Lesnar vs. Triple H is in the works for SummerSlam, some in the company are already predicting that he will end up working the remaining big pay-per-view events of 2012, Royal Rumble 2013 and then WrestleMania 29 before being done with the company.

"

More details on Lesnar's backstage blowout were also revealed. Backstage sources said that some of Lesnar's tantrums felt acted to show the WWE locker room he could leave at any time and claimed that Cena intentionally injured his knee during one spot in their match.

Like the former, WWE personnel felt that Lesnar's ranting on the latter was an act, since there are reports that Lesnar and Cena have no real-life heat between one another.

Here are some more details that were uncovered from Lesnar's outburst:

"

Lesnar went nuts backstage in front of everyone, tearing things up and throwing a tantrum. Lesnar specifically yelled at Marc Carano, the assistant to John Laurinaitis, about how things are a mess and everything is wrong in WWE. Some felt that part of the tantrum was just an act by Lesnar to show to the locker room that he could quit at any minute. Some of those same people felt that WWE officials could have been involved in Lesnar trying to work the other talents.

"

How do you folks feel over these latest developments and how they affect Lesnar's future developments with the WWE?
