Kentucky Derby TV Schedule 2012: Where to Watch Post Time and 138th Race
Derby Day has snuck up on us once again and soon enough the horses will be approaching the starting gate.
The most exciting two minutes in sports gets underway Saturday from Churchill Downs with a huge number of horses in the field.
Bodemeister and Union Rags are the current favorites going off at 9/2 according to Sportsbook.
Not far behind them are Gemologist at 7/1, Dullahan at 8/1 with Alpha and Creative Cause both at 11/1.
Other big names to keep an eye on are Hansen at 14/1, I'll Have Another and Daddy Nose Best at 15/1, El Padrino and Take Charge Indy at 16/1.
Post positions will be drawn Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET and that could still have an impact on the odds for the race.

There will be plenty of coverage from all major sports networks, but the actual "Run for the Roses" will be seen on NBC.
Naturally, the Derby kicks off a busy race season and is the first leg of the hallowed Triple Crown. The Preakness from Pimlico will take place on May 19th and the Belmont Stakes on June 9th from Belmont Park.
Everything starts at Churchill Downs though, as the Kentucky Derby is without question the most famous race of them all.
