15 NFL Players You'd Least Want to Invite to Your Summer BBQ
Imagine being at a barbecue with some of the greatest athletes in the world.
Better yet, picture an event involving babes, beer, BBQ and some of the elite in the NFL. Fun times are expected.
But what if the wrong NFL athletes show up? What if, in this hypothetical situation, some of the baddest men in the NFL show up and have a little too much to drink?
These are the athletes you would least want to invite to your summer BBQ.
James Harrison
1 of 15This is a friendly occasion, right?
James Harrison, who could quite possibly be the baddest man on the planet, might not be the best guest at your summer BBQ.
The reason for that is because of his ill-tempered mentality on the football field, and he doesn't take crap from anybody. This is evident from his relationship with his boss, Roger Goodell.
I doubt anybody would want to mess with Harrison, but you always have that drunk guy who wants to fight the biggest guy around.
Vince Wilfork
2 of 15Do you want all of your food gone in one serving?
Vince Wilfork is a true professional in the NFL, but he's also a very large man. You can't eat like bird and look like a horse, so when Wilfork gets his hands on the food at your BBQ, it'll be all she wrote.
Keep in mind that you're the one who's paying for all of the food at this summer BBQ, and Wilfork is big enough to put you in debt for a couple of months.
Ndamukong Suh
3 of 15Ndamukong Suh is on this list for obvious reasons.
Suh has turned out to be one of the dirtiest players in the league, and following his debacle with the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving last year, his reputation has gone downhill.
A BBQ is a family environment, and should everyone choose to play a friendly game of catch, you don't want anyone taking a stomp from Suh.
Richie Incognito
4 of 15Richie Incognito is as nasty as they come.
Offensive linemen are supposed to be fierce, aggressive and just straight-up mean, and Incognito fits the stereotype very well.
Incognito doesn't have the best of attitudes, either, and if this angry giant gets upset, everyone better clear out of his way.
LaRon Landry
5 of 15LaRon Landry is a physical specimen.
He has muscles on top of muscles, and he uses them to inflict damage on his opponents every Sunday of the season.
Though Landry is so physically intimidating, the thing I worry about the most is his ability to stay away from the weights long enough to sit down and enjoy some good cooking.
Cortland Finnegan
6 of 15Andre Johnson might show up, so it might not be a great idea to have Cortland Finnegan there.
You have to be on an elite level of dirtiness to get Johnson upset and thrown out of the game, and that's exactly what Finnegan was able to do.
(I'm obviously referring to the time both players started throwing punches at each other and were ejected.)
Finnegan is the equivalent of "The Situation" from The Jersey Shore on the football field, and we don't need anybody starting drama that's unneeded.
Jonathan Vilma
7 of 15Jonathan Vilma will most likely have a lot of free time, but I'm not going to be sending him an invitation anytime soon.
Strictly because he was involved in the whole bounty scandal involving the New Orleans Saints, and I don't want the fallout of that incident taking place at the BBQ.
Who knows, there might be some NFL players there who are looking to exact revenge with him.
LeGarrette Blount
8 of 15If LeGarrette Blount is willing to punch one of his teammates, you better believe he's willing to punch somebody at a friendly gathering.
Better yet, if Blount is unafraid of risking his senior season by dropping Boise State's Byron Hout following their game, then we might have an altercation or two at this BBQ.
But then again, as many times as that highlight has been played, I doubt anyone will have the courage to approach him.
Harvey Dahl
9 of 15As nasty as Incognito is, Harvey Dahl is that much nastier.
Dahl has been in fights with his teammates in the past, which resulted in him requiring eight stitches after taking a blow to the head by a helmet.
There won't be any helmets at the event to use as weapons, but there will be beer bottles...
Roddy White
10 of 15Roddy White's personality has been debated often in the past couple of years.
Many NFL fans have tried to decide whether White is confident or just straight-up cocky.
I see White leaning more toward the cocky side, but then again, I'm a Saints fan. To be completely unbiased about the issue, let's just leave him off the list of invitees.
Jay Cutler
11 of 15No one likes a moaner.
There's nothing worse than having a great time and being dragged down by a whining prima donna, and that's the sort of reputation Jay Cutler has built in his NFL career thus far.
I like Cutler a lot, but even I have to admit that his departure from the Denver Broncos was far more dramatic than it should have been.
Cam Newton
12 of 15Cam Newton is a wonderful football player, but he's extremely cocky.
His arrogant smile that he flashes when he scores is almost unbearable for me, and I don't think I could take seeing that at my BBQ.
Though Newton is a better quarterback and better football player than Tim Tebow, he could certainly learn a thing or two from him when it comes to humility.
Brandon Jacobs
13 of 15I can't stress enough that I don't want fights to occur at this event.
Inviting Brandon Jacobs to an event like this is like planting a bomb and not expecting it to explode. Jacobs has proven in his NFL career that he's a violent man who's looking to get violent.
With families gathered, I simply don't want to take that risk.
Jared Allen
14 of 15Not only do I want to keep this BBQ from getting violent but I also want to keep it somewhat civilized.
Having Jared Allen there might risk that. I will admit that he would certainly be the life of the party with his humor, and though it might be fun to get drunk with Allen and hear crazy stories from him, he is a little too much of a wild man for this sort of social gathering.
Though it's tempting, Allen might not be the best candidate for the BBQ.
Brandon Marshall
15 of 15Brandon Marshall is a wild card.
He unfortunately suffers from borderline personality disorder, and I believe it causes him to do some things that he's certainly regretted.
Things such as getting arrested, among other numerous charges, have haunted Marshall's reputation, and he's too big of a risk to invite to a social gathering.
