WWE Extreme Rules 2012: Daniel Bryan Will Have His Revenge on Sheamus

Sheamus is going to be punished for his quick victory over Daniel Bryan during WrestleMania 28. Bryan is way too viable a commodity to let him go quietly down in this budding rivalry. 

When Sheamus took down Bryan in just 18 seconds at WrestleMania, plenty of fans were in an uproar. The complaint was that the heavyweight title bout deserved more than one kick and a victory. 

They will get more in this match. 

This "2 out of 3 falls match" is custom made for Bryan to dominate Sheamus. Bryan is a much more technically sound wrestler. 

This format will allow him to feature those skills, and the WWE will take every advantage to showcase this. 

Bryan is on the verge of being one of the true stars in WWE, and they will build him up here. 

For the most part, Sheamus is a one-trick pony. Which had to have been the logic for WWE staging the quick victory at WrestleMania. They wanted to establish that the Brogue Kick is a dominant weapon. 

This sets the stage for the predictable drama in this one. At some point, Sheamus will get in one of those Brogue Kicks and Bryan will not be stopped this time. 

It is only going to make him angry. Bryan will come back from that kick with gusto, and you can expect a fairly one-sided match after that. 

Also, don't be surprised if AJ somehow manages a way to help out Bryan here. She was set up to be the reason he lost at WrestleMania, and she will get a chance to atone for those sins. 

Bryan will win back his crown.
