NHL Draft 2012: 20 Best Prospect Highlight Videos on YouTube
There's no easier way to see what a prospect brings than watching him play.
Sure, you can look at all the scouting reports and mock drafts you want, but before the 2012 NHL draft, it's good to get a taste of what each of the world's top young players bring by simply watching them play hockey.
As recent as five seasons ago, it would be difficult to find such quality video of the top draft-eligible players.
Today, the Internet video-sharing behemoth YouTube has made scouting these players relatively easy.
They're all just a search away.

1 of 20Right Wing, Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL)
Here, Frk's playmaking and shooting abilities are displayed.
19. Tom Wilson
2 of 20Right Wing, Plymouth Whalers (OHL)
Most videos of the 6'4" Wilson show him dropping his gloves and fighting.
Wilson is an old school power forward who's going to be very difficult to clear out of the crease in the NHL.
18. Matt Finn
3 of 20Defenseman, Guelph Storm (OHL)
This nice shot displays offensive capabilities from the quality defender.
17. Brendan Gaunce
4 of 20Center, Belleville Bulls (OHL)
This shows how rounded of a player Gaunce is. He can cause turnovers, deke and shoot well.

The defenseman shows his ability to step up and finish a play in this video.
14. Teuvo Teravainen

As agile as this video shows Teravainen to be, size could be a factor in the NHL as the Finnish winger is just 5'11" and weighs 165 pounds.
13. Radek Faksa
8 of 20Center, Kitchener Rangers (OHL)
Faksa scored 29 goals this season with finishing abilities shown in this highlight video.

11. Griffin Reinhart
10 of 20Defenseman, Edmonton Oil Kings (WHL)
Reinhart's positioning here is questionable, but he was a plus-23 this season, so he likely knows where to be on the ice.
10. Zemgus Girgensons
11 of 20Center, Dubuque Fighting Saints (USHL)
Girgensons was more than a point-per-game player this season, but take a look at his hitting instincts in this video.
9. Cody Ceci
12 of 20Defenseman, Ottawa 67's (OHL)
With all five opponents collapsing back to the net, Ceci was able to risk stepping up in order to shoot the puck on net.
8. Olli Maata
13 of 20Defenseman, London Knights (OHL)
There isn't much video of Maatta, but the defenseman is ranked 8th among North American skaters by NHL.com's Central Scouting.
7. Morgan Rielly
14 of 20Defenseman, Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL)
Rielly was compared to Paul Coffey and Erik Karlsson. He'll need to be sharp defensively as well, but the offensive talents are clear.

This report features quality highlights of Galchenyuk, who recenetly returned from a knee injury after missing most of the season.

Dumba is a great all-around defenseman who seems to have the ability to do everything.

17 of 20Left Wing, Leksand (Swedish League)
Forsberg always seems to be one step ahead of the defense when producing offensive plays.
3. Ryan Murray
18 of 20Defenseman, Everett Silvertips (WHL)
Murray will likely be the first defenseman drafted this year.
2. Mikhail Grigorenko
19 of 20Center, Quebec Remparts (QMJHL)
Grigorenko shows an impressive ability to create space and goals.
1. Nail Yakupov
20 of 20Right Wing, Sarnia Sting (OHL)
If the Edmonton Oilers use their top pick in the draft to pick this incredible offensive talent and keep Taylor Hall, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle, they will have the NHL's most dangerous offense within three seasons.
