WWE Superstar CM Punk Will Overcome Demons and Destroy Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is in CM Punk's head. This much is certain.

In the midst of this heated rivalry, Chris Jericho has tormented the WWE Champion, making the rivalry extremely personal. Jericho has pointed out the fact that CM Punk has an alcoholic father, which is why Punk is straight edge. He has stated that Punk's sister also had substance abuse problems. He has even brought Punk's mother into the mix, stating that he is his mother's bastard child.

Add to all of that the fact that Jericho poured whiskey and beer all over a defenseless Punk, as well as smashed the bottle of whiskey over his head. 

Despite all of this, CM Punk will still overcome his demons and destroy Jericho. 

CM Punk is the face of the WWE right now, as he is arguably the most popular wrestler with the company. There is an extremely high possibility that this feud ends with him absolutely manhandling Jericho, gaining his revenge.

One scenario is that the height of this rivalry will take place at Extreme Rules this month, which will be held in Punk's hometown of Chicago. This may be where Punk finally destroys Jericho in some brutal stipulation match.

Another scenario is that the height of Jericho's wrath will come full circle at Extreme Rules. He will win the WWE Championship, embarrassing Punk in front of his home crowd. After this, Punk's motivation will be at an all-time high, forcing him to play unfairly as well. He will turn the tables on Jericho, win the title back at a later time and win the feud.

First, Punk will need to overcome his demons. He has already addressed his private matters, saying that he is proud of his family and proud of his straight edge lifestyle. He no longer has to deal with that, which will allow him to deal with issues currently bogging him down.

For two weeks now, Jericho has humiliated Punk, beating him down and pouring alcohol on him. Jericho is convinced he will turn Punk into an alcoholic, saying, "It is in his blood." By doing all of this, Jericho is lighting a fire in CM Punk that he may not be able to put out.

In the end, Punk will get his revenge. Punk will be champion when all is said and done. Punk will beat Jericho in his feud and continue his straight edge lifestyle. Once Punk can get past the fact that alcohol was poured on him and Jericho has gotten personal with his family, he will unleash one of the biggest beatdowns in WWE history. This much I can guarantee.
