WWE Raw: Top 5 Superstars to Watch for Tonight

Justin WatryJun 7, 2018

Tonight will be the first official Raw after WrestleMania season. Last week saw plenty of major moments in Miami that will shape WWE for the rest of the year.

However, the machine never stops. WWE has a PPV event at the end of the month, and there are a few superstars to watch out for tonight. Who are they?

Let's find out!

5. Mr. Excitement

1 of 5

Being on the official listing on WWE.com, John Laurinaitis counts.

Johnny Ace is officially in charge of both Raw and Smackdown. We saw some of his actions last week, but it will surely continue tonight.

He rules with an iron fist. Of course, the heels will be favored for a while, so it will be interesting to see what matches he makes for Extreme Rules coming up.

Especially with the PPV event taking place in Chicago...

4. CM Punk

2 of 5

CM Punk and Chris Jericho had a great match at Mania. The WWE Championship stayed with its owner, but it seems as if their feud will go on.

Last week, Jericho left Punk lying in a puddle of alcohol. On top of that, Punk was demolished by Mark Henry for over 10 minutes.

With Extreme Rules taking place in Chicago in a few weeks, who knows what Punk's near future holds?

3. Second Chance

3 of 5

Last week, Lord Tensai debuted on Raw.

On Smackdown, we saw Ryback come back to WWE.

We also saw a very interesting promo from Damien Sandow Friday night.

Tonight will be fun to watch. While first impressions mean a lot in life, nobody can deny second chances. A few new talents may have a new grasp on life Monday night.

2. John Cena

4 of 5

John Cena was defeated at WrestleMania for the second straight year. Not only that, but he lost in one of the biggest matches of all-time.

The Rock beat him fair and square. In a match he "had" to win, Cena now continues 2012 will a very intriguing path. There is no doubt he stays face, but what is next?

We certainly saw a hint last week...

1. Brock Lesnar

5 of 5

Brock Lesnar is back!

The man did not say anything last week when he returned and took out Cena. Actions spoke much louder than words for the (former) next big thing.

He is set for Raw tonight, and I can't imagine many fans will want to miss this. Whatever he does (or says), it will be talked about for a long, long time.
