Wrestlemania 28: Undertaker Would Help WWE More by Losing to Emerging Star
Few wrestlers have the prestige and following to single-handedly change the WWE's landscape.
The Undertaker showed how much he has meant to the WWE in WrestleMania 28, when he defeated Triple H in the most electric showcase of the night.
But the Undertaker has the ability to do more, and losing to an emerging star to finish off his career would be a great way to propel wrestling into another stratosphere.

Imagine what defeating a wrestler of the Undertaker's stature would do for an emerging wrestler. It would catapult his career and change the dynamics of the WWE. It would create a new character who would likely be looked at in two ways. He would either be that well-respected up-and-comer who took down the formidable Undertaker, or he would become the WWE's next villain who sneers at the greats and doesn't back down to anyone.
Even if the Undertaker lost to finish off his career, he would still be regarded as one of the greats of this era. He's done so much and performed so well for so many years, that he would go out with his head up high and the arena applauding a departing legend.
In that case, why not use his departure as a stepping stone to more greatness? Boost a rising star or create a new one. There is nothing that creates more buzz than a young wrestler knocking off a respected veteran.
The Undertaker deserves to do what's best for him at this juncture of his career. If he left now, no one would blame him. Asking for more is being selfish.
But...if he does want to continue and doesn't mind losing to end his career, he wouldn't just be a superstar, he'd be a hero. He would be the guy responsible for beginning a historic new era in the WWE's history.
WrestleMania 28 was a prime example of the the highs and lows of the WWE right now. Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan was an 18-second disgrace. The divas match was a joke. However, there were also some magnificent matches, including CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho and The Rock vs. John Cena.
The WWE certainly isn't perfect, but the Undertaker has the ability to lift it into the clouds.
