College Basketball Slam Dunk Contest 2012: Justice Served with Must-See Jam
Justice was served to every Division I dunker in attendance Thursday night at the College Basketball Slam Dunk Contest in the Big Easy when 5'10", 165 pound senior Martin Methodist guard James Justice took home the crown with this epic, through-the-legs jam.
The Memphis native put himself and the Division II, Tennessee-based school on the map with the win, becoming the second straight non-Division I dunker to take home the Slam Dunk title. Last year Jacob Tucker, of Division III Illinois College won the event.
Justice out-shined a handful of underwhelming D-I dunkers during the event, including Auburn's Kenny Gabriel, Miaimi's DeQuan Jones and Clemson's Bryan Narcisse. Clearly, those guys weren't recruited for their creative dunking ability.

Justice's incredible jam was made possible by his 52-inch vertical leap, according to this highlight video put out by supporters in hopes of having the elite jam man considered for the competition.
That being said, it would have been an injustice (no pun intended) if James Justice was snubbed from taking his superb leaping talents to New Orleans.
Justice was the best dunker in the arena by far on Thursday night, and his dunk even made SportsCenter's No. 1 top play of the day, and deservedly so.
Not surprisingly, Justice was named an NAIA First Team All-American in 2010-11 for his strong play on the hardwood. His dunks may have had a hand in that.
