WWE WrestleMania 28: Who Will Be the 5 Worst Performers at the Show?
On Monday, I wrote an article detailing who will be the best performers at WrestleMania.
Only after I’d written it did I realise that all six are in a main event at WrestleMania.
That’s just the way the cookie crumbled. But who will be the worst performers at WrestleMania?
I have created a slideshow detailing each superstar I think will underperform at the big event and reasons why.
This slideshow takes into account each superstar’s ability to wrestle, excite a crowd and basically put on a show worthy of WrestleMania.
Enjoy!
Big Show
1 of 5The Big Show has been in his fair share of main events lately and he is now vying for another title—Cody Rhodes’ Intercontinental Championship.
I’m a fan of the Big Show don’t get me wrong, but his WrestleMania record speaks for itself—he just doesn’t bring the goods at the event.
Not to mention the fact that Big Show rarely entertains at the Granddaddy of ‘em all.
With Cody Rhodes already pointing out these flaws, it could be possible that Big Show pulls out a special performance, but I think Cody will outperform him in the ring, and I think he will be the driving force behind the entertainment factor of the whole match.
Jack Swagger
2 of 5Jack Swagger is still a boring competitor.
Watching him wrestle makes me yawn.
He is not able to utilise the real skills he has in the way that Kurt Angle did, making him look like a bad rip-off of the aforementioned star.
Fighting in a 12-man tag match is not going to help him break out of his shell either.
If Vickie Guerrero can’t even make you into a better superstar, what chance do you have?
Expect his performance to be dull at this year’s show.
Drew McIntyre
3 of 5Drew McIntyre has been subjected to some awful writing by the creative team as of late, and as such, has been losing match after match in a less-than-spectacular style.
The crowd never really got behind Drew McIntyre in the first place, and the fact he has been absent from television for a few weeks just adds to the lack of interest.
I doubt he will get a lot of ring time, and it’s down to this, and his current lack of charisma, that he makes the list.
Eve
4 of 5Eve is not the best Diva to ever grace a WWE ring, and in all fairness, I think she will be outperformed by Maria Menounos.
She just doesn’t do it for me as a Diva, although I am hoping WrestleMania and this current heel turn will bring something out of Eve—something to make her stand out like Beth Phoenix and Natalya.
The Great Khali
5 of 5Do I even need to say anything on this slide?
Oh, go on then...The Great Khali is one of the worst professional wrestlers to ever step foot inside a ring, and despite his popularity in places such as his own country, I do not believe he should be participating in this match at WrestleMania.
I wouldn’t mind if his character hadn’t have been ruined by the whole “Punjabi Playboy” thing, but that just makes it even worse.
He is now trying to come off as a threat to Team Johnny, when everyone knows he will be eliminated pretty much as soon as he steps in the ring.
I’d rather Snooki was on Team Teddy.
