WWE WrestleMania 28: Who Will Be the Best 6 Performers at This Year's Show?

Daniel MasseyJun 7, 2018

WrestleMania 28 is just seven days away and though I have been away for a couple of weeks, I am back to bring you some insightful previews to the biggest event of the wrestling year!

This slideshow takes a look at who will be the best performers at this year’s event.

It is a really stacked card this year, but I have picked the people who I believe will stand out.

Enjoy!

Triple H

1 of 6

Triple H is one of many veterans competing at WrestleMania this year, and I do not think he will disappoint.

Fighting The Undertaker in Hell in a Cell in a match dubbed the end of an era, Triple H will be bringing the best he has.

After seeing footage of him at Madison Square Garden last week, The Game looks to be in better shape than he has been in recent months, suggesting he has been training a lot more so he can be in prime condition for this epic encounter.

These are the reasons I believe Triple H will be one of the best performers this year.

The Undertaker

2 of 6

The Undertaker has brought his A-game to a total of 19 WrestleMania events over the years, and I do not think this year will be any different.

His performance in the ominous Hell in a Cell structure will be one of his best ever.

The fact that The Undertaker is getting ever closer to retirement means it is harder and harder for him to perform, hence why he is down to one match a year.

However, that match gets his full attention and usually steals the show at the granddaddy of ‘em all!

I believe The Undertaker will make a strong case for being one of the top performers at this year’s WrestleMania.

Chris Jericho

3 of 6

Jericho is one of the greatest of all time, and at WrestleMania in his match with CM Punk, he will prove why by displaying a variety of different moves that we probably haven’t seen for quite a while, which is one of the reasons Jericho will be one of the best performers at this year’s WrestleMania.

He will bring freshness to the competition that one rarely sees nowadays.

This freshness will not only help Punk to develop, but it will probably also make Punk look better than Jericho.

CM Punk

4 of 6

CM Punk has taken the WWE in an entirely new direction over the past year and some would even argue he spearheaded a new era.

His match at Money in the Bank 2011 was voted match of the year by Wrestling Observer Newsletter. CM Punk’s wrestling skills are second to none, and that is why he calls himself the best in the world.

If the best in the world wasn’t on this list, there would be something wrong.

His match with Jericho will definitely be a spectacle in terms of wrestling moves and the art of catch as catch can.

CM Punk will outperform Jericho, though.

John Cena

5 of 6

John Cena, whether you love him, hate him or simply tolerate him, is one of the best performers in the history of the WWE.

He loves his job and puts 100 percent into every performance.

Everyone knows he can wrestle, he can fight and he can entertain like no other, especially at WrestleMania. I wouldn’t expect his match with the Rock to contain any brilliant moves, but it will surely be entertaining, and that is what John Cena does best.

His heart will be in his performance due to the real-life animosity he feels towards The Rock. I believe this will shine through in a positive manner and he will be one of the best performers of the night.

The Rock

6 of 6

The Rock is electrifying—it’s not just a catchphrase, it’s a fact.

He will electrify the audience in attendance that has waited a year to see him face John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania.

The passion will be flowing through his veins and he will likely have the goosebumps he has been experiencing on Raw.

There is no doubt in my mind that despite not being in singles action for many years, he will be the best performer on the night.

He will be putting his boots to asses and the crowd will lap it up.
