NIT 2012: Scores and Recap from March 27
After some exciting Final Four action, the NIT finals are set. Fifth-seeded Stanford will take on sixth- seeded Minnesota.
This sets up a potentially good ending to a season that was full of ups and downs. Minnesota finished just 6-12 in the Big Ten. Stanford finished 10-8 in the Pac-12.

No. 5 Stanford 74, No. 3 Massachusetts 64
Stanford led most of this game. However, that lead got extremely tenuous in the second half.
Anthony Brown came to the Cardinals rescue. He scored a season-high 18 points—13 of which came in the second half.
Josh Owens was also fantastic for the Cardinals. He had 15 points and 12 rebounds—six of those rebounds came on the offensive end.
UMass' Chaz Williams led all scorers with 19 points.
No. 6 Minnesota 68, No. 1 Washington 67 in OT
This was a thrilling game. Minnesota led almost the entire game, but the Huskies made an improbable comeback late to tie the game and send it into overtime.
The overtime was just as tight. Washington missed a game-tying three with the clock running down, but got a quick two with just under five seconds to go. They quickly fouled and Minnesota missed both free throws, and the Huskies missed a desperation three.
Andre Hollins led the way for the Golden Gophers with 20 points. He also had five assists and four rebounds.
Washington's Terrence Ross led all scorers with 21.
