With the World and WWE Titles also on the line with four great performers, this show is shaping up to be one of the best ever. However, the location of next year's grand event was recently announced.
WWE announced that next year's WrestleMania will be held in New Jersey. It is a great choice, and many options are available for the company in the Northeast.
However, we all know WWE will be looking for celebrities to use. It has been a part of this business since day one, and it isn't going away anytime soon.
Thus, you think about the location. You think about the current "fads." You think about what is going to draw media attention. With all of that put together, you have one very easy solution.
The cast of Jersey Shore could very well be at WrestleMania next spring!
You can mark that one down folks. It fits as well as peanut butter and jelly. The story writes itself, and WWE will gain all the benefits from profiling such popular figures.
You don't believe me? Here are a few reasons why this is very likely to happen:
1. Jersey Shore was just announced to be returning for a sixth season. Where are they filming this season? Yeah, you guessed it. New Jersey!
Deny the quality of the show all you want, but it produces ratings. In a day and age where WWE is looking for more media attention, the cast could only help.
2. Snooki may not be able to do much for nine months. No worries! 'Mania in 2013 is well over a year away. If she were to come back for another match, she would be in the clear of her pregnancy by then.
As I have written about in the past, Snooki will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day. Just like The Great Khali, it is going to happen. With the show taking place in Jersey, why not next year?
3. Zack Ryder needs some help to gain more fans. We all know he has the "Internet fans." That isn't going to change. However, it would be great to see him branch out to the majority of the WWE Universe.
Thus, who better to battle with than Mike "The Situation?" He is currently in the news for all the wrong reasons, but that can change in 12 months. Ryder could hit the media rounds and become well known to the masses.
4. Finally, John Cena challenged Jersey Shore to show up! Yes, he did it on live television for the whole world to see. With one sentence, he let the entire viewing audience have a little taste of what could happen.
Cena may have been joking, but it doesn't matter at this point. He said it. It is now out there. There is no way to ignore all the signs pointing a WWE/Jersey Shore WrestleMania next year!
