Top 5 WWE/Jersey Shore Possibilities

Justin WatryJan 5, 2012

WWE has had a long history of using celebrities. From the very first WrestleMania over 25 years ago to the most recent show in Atlanta. It has always been a part of this business, and that is not going to stop anytime soon.

As most know, tonight is the premiere of the new season of Jersey Shore. Like it or not, the show still draws monster ratings, and the cast members are considered "celebrities" in 2012. Today, I will count down the top five possibilities WWE could have in store for fans, involving the cast...

5. Ronnie and Mason Ryan Team

1 of 5

Let me get this out of the way.

Ronnie was dreadful on TNA Impact. I know most of the show is hard to watch, but this was just ridiculous. Lucky for WWE, Ronnie is a big guy and in great shape.

So is Mason Ryan.

The team writes itself. In a time where WWE is looking for all the "real" teams possible, this just may work out well for both men.

4. Angelina and Vickie Guerrero

2 of 5

Honestly, Vickie Guerrero is a great heel. She is one of the best in the business. What could help her gain even more "jeers" from the crowd?

Adding Angelina.

Yes, she was terrible in TNA. Again, most of the show is. However, WWE knows how to hide a performer's weaknesses. Just standing next to Vickie would get her attention. Putting her with Jack Swagger would also help.

Just keep her out of the ring.

3. Jwoww with Air Boom

3 of 5

Again, I would keep her out of the ring.

Jwoww could help Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston with their current feud. Going against Primo and Epico may be fine, but what about outside interference? The very talented Rosa Mendes is always at ringside.

Air Boom could use some help on the outside. Add in a small brawl to get rid of Rosa, and you have a nice moment to allow Air Boom to focus on their opponents.

2. The Situation vs. Zack Ryder

4 of 5

Yes, this would be huge for Ryder. Argue against it all you want, but the media would be all over this one. No single match could gain Ryder more fans that this one.

The story has already begun (as the video shows). The payoff, of course, would be a match. The Situation is in great shape, and a few moves would not be very hard for a celebrity to learn in a few weeks. Plus, he would get a paycheck, as the reality show seems to be ending soon.

I think.

Add in the major publicity this match would garner, the countless number of appearances for Zack Ryder promoting such a match, and you have a win-win for everybody involved.

1. Snooki for WWE Hall of Fame

5 of 5

Yes, I am serious. Yes, it is for the celebrity wing...and yes, it is going to happen.

Even more, I would not be surprised to see her back in the ring sooner rather than later. Her first match was amazing, and another one could be even better.

Back in July, I wrote an article making a case for her induction to take place this year in Miami. Her show took place there one year, and it would cover some media attention for the event.

In October, I predicted she was not done with WWE. Another match was certainly not out of the question for both parties.

In December, guess who showed up on WWE Raw? Snooki!

Again, I have zero doubts her time with WWE is over. Thus, why not strike while the iron is still hot? Her time in the spotlight is not going to last forever. We all know that, so I suggest making this happen. Now!
